Where It All Started
I've always loved being in the pool, but I truly fell in love with swimming after developing Sever's disease. Before then, I spent most of my time running and playing football, but when the pain made those sports impossible, swimming became my outlet. What started as an alternative quickly became my passion. Since then, I've dedicated myself to competitive swimming, and the sport has shaped me into the athlete and person I am today.
The Journey Nobody Sees
I've learned that not everyone will believe in you, and that's okay. Being underestimated has driven me to work harder, stay consistent, and prove to myself what I'm capable of. In the end, my biggest motivation has always been becoming a better athlete than I was yesterday.
Your Greatest Moments
Iron and Swim WA State Champion since Under 10. Aussie Gold Medalist in both the swim and 2 km events for 2 years. Silver Medalist in the 7.5 km Open Water National Championships. Swimming WA State Champion in both Long Course and Short Course across the 200 m, 400 m, 800 m, 1500 m and 5 km open water events. Representing Western Australia in both surf lifesaving and pool swimming has been a huge honor. These achievements are milestones that continue to motivate me to keep improving.
Beyond the Sport
When I'm not in the pool, you'll find me on the golf course. It's probably not the most relaxing hobby, but despite the occasional bad shot (or ten), I still love every minute of it.
